
The only guest house located in Ghana’s Aburi Botanical Gardens, tourists attraction in the Eastern Region is fast deteriorating.
The guest house (ABG Guest House) strategically established in the centre of the Gardens is uninhabitable and now with its structural defects becoming too visible.
The stairs to the top floor of the building and the woods are in a dilapidated state.
The two-storey building which could accommodate visitors and rake in some cedis in revenue for the Akuapem South District Assembly and the nation Ghana is now in sordid state.

Hundreds of visitors both international and domestic patronize the Gardens on daily basis.
With its tourism, scientific, medicinal and cultural significance, Aburi Gardens could attract millions of visitors annually some of whom will be accommodated in the Guest House with the aim of experiencing nature and this could boost the local economy and help place Ghana on the world’s natural tourism facilities.

The Ministry of Tourism, the Akuapem South District Assembly, NGOs, international organizations and all stakeholders must help rehabilitate the guests house with immediate effect
