Ryan Wesley Routh, the man arrested for allegedly attempting to target former President Donald Trump, was found to have a Biden-Harris sticker on his truck, according to the FBI after a search of his apartment.
Routh, 58, was arrested on Sunday, September 15, for allegedly approaching Trump’s Mar-a-Lago golf club with an AK-47 assault rifle. The suspect, once a Trump voter in 2016, had since become vocal in his opposition to Trump, accusing him of trying to “make Americans slaves to a master,” as reported by the Washington Post.
Since 2019, Routh, who has a history of criminal offenses, had shifted his support to Democratic figures, donating to their campaigns and echoing anti-Trump sentiments promoted by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

According to the NY Post, the suspect, currently under FBI investigation and detained by local authorities, had a Biden-Harris bumper sticker on his vehicle at his home in Kaaawa, Hawaii. Earlier, federal agents searched his former residence in Greensboro, North Carolina, and images of his Hawaii home also surfaced.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) from April 22, Routh urged President Biden to focus his re-election campaign on maintaining “America democratic and free.”
